KASTONAI LIVING HOUSE
Family House Kastonai Street Ringaudai introduces a contemporary single-storey home that blends functional planning, natural light, and landscape architecture into one coherent whole. Located in the Ringaudai district of Noreikiškės, the residence reflects a calm, modern lifestyle rooted in a close relationship with nature.
The layout of the home follows a clear and logical structure. The living area forms the central space, and it opens directly toward the inner courtyard. As a result, the rooms receive generous daylight and maintain constant visual contact with the garden. The sleeping area sits in a quieter part of the plan; therefore, it offers privacy and a peaceful environment for the family. Meanwhile, the inner yard brings light deep into the heart of the building and creates a micro-climate that enriches daily use of the house.
In addition to the main volume, the plot includes a separate SPA building. It contains a sauna and a relaxation zone, and its position in the landscape allows the family to disconnect and enjoy nature more intimately. Moreover, the SPA structure works together with the main house and the courtyard, creating a sequence of exterior and interior moments throughout the site.
A comprehensive landscape project shapes the entire plot. Pathways, greenery, terraces, and framed views guide movement and enhance the experience of the Family House Kastonai Street Ringaudai. The landscape also improves privacy and strengthens the connection between the two buildings.
The architectural expression relies on a carefully selected material palette. The façade combines thermally modified wood with 8 cm concrete slabs featuring subtle color shading. This combination adds warmth, depth, and a timeless modern identity.
