KYBARTU TRIO
This small residential development includes three similar two-storey houses, located on a green slope in Kaunas. Surrounded by forest, the homes follow a simple and functional architectural concept.
Each house has a compact, modern form with a garage embedded into the terrain. The sloping site allows the garage to connect naturally to the ground floor. Greenish zinc panels and dark wood cover the facades, blending the buildings into the surrounding nature.
The first floor contains open-plan living areas. These spaces extend into large balconies, offering elevated views of the forest. The second floor includes bedrooms, designed for privacy and daylight.
The layout supports everyday comfort while maintaining strong visual links to the outdoors. Natural materials and a modest design help the houses feel calm, grounded, and respectful to their context.
